Oregon Food Bank works to eliminate hunger and its root causes... because no one should be hungry. We provide food assistance to anyone who needs it, and we are working to improve access for marginalized communities and underserved populations. People of color in Oregon experience hunger and poverty at disproportionate rates to white people, which is why our work to improve access to food for marginalized and underserved communities is critical. Providing translation and interpretation support to limited English speakers is one vital step to address barriers to access and services for underserved communities.
